Mark just closed on his first home. We are so excited for him. He is hoping to be married sometime this summer. Will post a pic of he and Heather soon. It is a nice ranch in a very nice neighborhood not to far from us. Emma , Ian and Heidi enjoyed seeing it the other night.

Hey everyone, I have some new pics to add. Tim and I recently went on vacation to Co and MO. I have some pics from the CO visit this time and as soon as I get the MO pics on my computer will add them. We had a wonderful time.

Mother' Day has come and gone. We had a wonderful lunch at my house on Sunday. It is always good when we can all be together. Even though my house is small we managed to get everyone inside and fed. Here are few pics taken that day. Enjoy!!

We just got back from a great week of vacation in Tennessee with Erin, John and the little ones. We had great weather and a lot of fun. We saw beautiful mountains, black bears, waterfalls, deer etc... We stayed in a cabin that was great and Emma and Ian now play pool, or as they say "stick ball", we thought that was fairly accurate. Hope you like the pics.

Erin and I took the kids to the playground yesterday. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun. Everyone is getting so big... Ian can almost keep up with Emma Grace, not easy, she is fast and very busy. Heidi and I enjoyed swinging, Ian hates to swing and Emma Grace has learned to swing alone. I also took a picture at my house of all the spring flowers coming out.

Here are some pictures taken recently. Emma Grace and Ian are growing so fast. Heidi is almost 5 months now and has started teething. They are such sweet blessings in our life and I am so lucky to get to spend so much time with them. Derek loves to rock climb and I have included some pics of him hanging on for dear life. Easter has come and gone and our "sugar butt's " looked so nice in their Easter finery. I hope everyone had a great Easter as well. What would we do if our Lord had not came to die on a cross and conquer death and the grave. He is a good God.

Warm weather fun

Warm sunny days and lots of fun for all. Emma Grace and Ian had a wonderful time playing at the park the other day, and Nanny and mommy enjoyed having some time in the sun as well. Just wanted to add a few new photos to the pot. Emma Grace, Ian and Heidi are getting so big so fast. Emma and Ian spent the night at Nanny and Papaw's last night, it was fun. They are so sweet. Ian thinks papaw hung the moon. It is nice to be idolized, we know it will not last forever.

Happy Valentine's Day to all. Time is going by so fast. Our Ian has turned two and our Emma Grace will soon be three. Heidi is getting bigger, starting to koo and talk to us. Emma and Ian think she is the greatest as do the rest of us. Here are some of our newest photos taken in the last couple of months and weeks. I hope you enjoy them.

We went to WV to see Katrinka and had a wonderful time. I am so thankful that God has allowed us to keep her for a while longer. She is the strongest person I know. Have a blessed day.

Our baby Heidi arrived on 11/21/08 at 1:26 a.m. She weighed in at 6 lbs and 15 0z. She is 191/2 in long and beautiful. Erin did great. She was in labor for 5 1/2 hours and when Heidi decided to come she came fast. We feel very blessed to have her with us for our " Thanksgiving", we are thankful for her and her siblings. Emma Grace and Ian love her so much. They want to hold and kiss her all the time. They still refer to her as "Bump" which is what we called her while she was still in her mommy, since we didn't know she was a girl. God is good and all is well.

Our babies are growing up so fast. They love to go to grandma Joyce's and play her piano, they can sit at their own table and eat. They recently went to the beach , we found out Emma Grace loves the ocean, the sand and everything, but Ian does not. He hates to get his hands dirty and doesn't like cold water. I missed them like crazy, didn't know what to do with myself the week they were gone. We had a great time July 4th at the baseball game, we saw some awesome fireworks, Emma looked so cute in her hat, she had to wear it backwards like her Uncle Derek does. Ian loves to eat, as you can see, he is heavy!!! Emma Grace is in to dressing up now and sometimes she has to wear her pretty things out. She tells us her name is Princess, I think so, don't you. I hope you enjoy these new pics.

Frog fun in the sun and Tweetsie Railroad

Summer is here and it has been hot, so I got the babies a little frog pool to cool off in when at Nanny's house. Emma liked it, but Ian thought the well water a bit cold. Tim took the day off on June 19 and we took Emma and Ian to Tweetsie Railroad. It was a blessed day. The weather was perfect right at 70 degrees and the babies were exceptional. Not one time did they cry, fuss with each other or in any way act up, they really were perfect. This was one of those days you want to document because it was so good. I hope you like the pictures. Let me just say one more time " I love being a Nanny"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been doing a few things to the house. Painted the kitchen door, got new furniture and a new swing. I love it out here, it is so quiet and nice and very me, country and homey. These are some pictures of the babies I took recently while they were visiting. Doesn't Emma Grace look elegant! Oh, and here is our cat, we just call her Kitty although her real name is Tobi :) We hope you enjoy looking at our world and sharing in the every day things of life. God is so good to us and we are very blessed indeed!

Mark has graduated from College!

Mark has just spent the last for years working hard, making good grades and finally graduating from Appalachian State University with honors. He did it in 4 yrs which is very impressive. We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished. Just wanted to share some of the pictures from that special day and also show off his beautiful girlfriend Heather. Hope you enjoy.

Emma and Ian are growing up fast, and having so much fun exploring new things. They found out recently they will be getting a new brother/sister in Dec. Wow!, how exciting. Emma and Ian love playing outside, for the most part they play very well together, although Emma is in the 2yr. old "this is mine faze".

The New year has started with a bang. Ian turned one year old. He had a wonderful party and got lots of gifts. He is a sweet boy. He is now walking, ( not great), but he is walking : ) Tim's mom got sick on the 18th of Jan. and passed away on the 29th. We will miss her so much. She was a sweet woman full of grace. She is in her heavenly home with her Dave now and free of pain and SHE CAN HEAR now. I hope you like the pictures, some are from Christmas and some from Ian's birthday, and just one or two random ones. Enjoy!

Well, it is a new year, and I didn't make any New Years resolutions, I have learned from the past that I cannot keep them, so I decided this year not to make any that way I cannot be disappointed. Smart don't you think. I did want to add some recent pictures of my boys and my grand babies.

I finally have the pictures to show you. We really like our new place it is very cozy. We both like being in the country. Our dogs escaped the first night there, but thankfully someone tied them up for us. They said they could tell they were loved and belonged to someone. Hope you like the pictures.

Moving

It is moving day today and unfortunately I am at work. Erin assures me that everything is going well. I am both happy and sad today. I am excited to move and yet sad to be leaving our Bryant Farms house. You know how it goes, we woman always have mixed emotions about things. I will post pictures as soon as I get them.

Erin and I were busy changing out kitchens last night, both are looking cute and more like ours. After being over there last night I know I am going to like the quietness of the area and how dark it is. We have so many street lights that it looks like day even at night.

The babies are doing great, being a big help of course. I have some pictues to put in of Emma Grace helping clean. She looks so sweet all dressed up.
